This is a great recipe to have on hand if you are ever in need of a minimalist, yet hearty meal especially when you’re trying to be frugal. Oh, and did I mention that it’s quite delicious 😉
In this soup, you will find your protein from the tuna, your fibre (and of course all other sorts of good stuff) from the kale and broccoli, and your detoxifying agent from the ginger.
Just remember to go easy on the salt; try Himalayan pink salt if you can! While it’s good to get some Omega 6’s in your body, don’t overdo it with the olive oil, unless you’re compensating it with some Omega 3’s.

Ingredients (2 servings):
-2 cups of Water
-A can of tuna
-1 cup of Kale
-1/2 cup of Broccoli
-2 inches of Ginger
-Onion seasoning/Fine herbs (optional)
-1/4 teaspoon of Salt
-1 teaspoon of olive oil
- Boil the water until it’s starting to bubble.
- Chop up kale, broccoli and ginger and add to the pot.
- Add tuna.
- Add olive oil, salt and any other flavouring elements to it.
- Boil for around 15 minutes, serve and enjoy! ❤
